About

Marianne Krumbach is a Danish ceramicist trained at the Kolding School of Design, having previously studied art history at the University of Copenhagen. Working from her studio in Copenhagen NV, she reinterprets everyday objects and nature through clay, often shifting scale, colour and context. In recent years her work has centred on modelled, nature-inspired sculptural pieces, alongside occasional thrown work. She has exhibited in Denmark and abroad, including Paris, Milan and Los Angeles, and has received several grants and awards, among them repeated working grants from the Danish Arts Foundation.
