Marie Østergaard Knudsen (born 1971) is a Danish author, book consultant and publisher with a master's degree in literary studies from the University of Copenhagen. She is best known for the handbooks *Fortæl dit liv* (2016) and *Skriv om din slægt* (2022), practical guides to writing memoirs and family histories, and has taught memoir writing for over a decade at folk high schools and through her own platform skrivditliv.nu. In November 2026 she makes her fiction debut with the novel *DU MÅ IKKE SKRIVE OM MOR*, published by Forlaget Alhambra.
