Rahel Talts is an Estonian jazz pianist and composer, raised in the coastal town of Pärnu and trained at the Danish National Academy of Music, where she completed a master's degree in jazz piano and composition in 2023. Her music draws on Baltic and Nordic folk traditions alongside bebop and contemporary jazz, built around melodic writing and rhythmic drive. With her quartet she has toured Europe and Asia, playing festivals including Jazz Baltica, Jazzkaar and the Copenhagen Jazz Festival. She also leads the 14-piece Rahel Talts Ensemble, which was named Jazz Ensemble of the Year in Estonia in 2026.
