Søren Schauser

About

Søren Schauser (born 1965 in Herning) holds a PhD in philosophy, trained as a violinist, and works as associate professor of music history at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. He is the author of numerous books on classical music, opera and philosophy, and is widely recognised from the DR2 television programme 'Den klassiske musikquiz'. Schauser has written for major Danish newspapers and contributed to the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians.
