Messiah at Helligaandskirken

Helligaandskirken on Strøget in Copenhagen hosts Handel's Messiah on Thursday, 10 December 2026 at 19:30. The work is performed by 14 professional singers serving as both choir and soloists, accompanied by a baroque orchestra on period instruments. The church, one of Copenhagen's oldest, contains Gothic and Baroque elements and dates back to the Middle Ages, though the current building largely originates from the 18th century following a fire. This is one of four Danish concert dates on the tour, which also includes performances in Odense, Roskilde, and Næstved. Tickets cost 225 kr.
