Suzanne Brøgger is a Danish author, born 1944, who made her debut in 1973 with "Fri os fra kærligheden" and has since been one of the most distinctive voices in Danish literature. She writes across genres - novels, essays and diaries - and is known for her sharp, provocative exploration of love, freedom and gender.
