Turboweekend
Danish rock band Turboweekend performs at ACC in Aarhus.
Turboweekend are a Danish synthrock band from Copenhagen, founded in 2006 by childhood friends Silas Bjerregaard, Martin Øhlers Petersen and Morten Køie. Across four albums - from debut 'Night Shift' (2007) to 'Share My Thunder' (2015) - they won awards including P3 Breakthrough and Danish Music Award for Best Live Act. After disbanding in 2018, they reunited in 2024 and released their first new music in a decade in 2025.
Turboweekend released the single 'Verden er vidunderlig' and announced two arena concerts in November 2026 - ACC in Aarhus and Forum in Copenhagen.
The spring tour 2025 started with four planned shows, which quickly grew to twelve, with top reviews from Soundvenue, Politiken, Jyllands-Posten and GAFFA.
The comeback single 'Under overfladen' - the band's first release in ten years - came out in Danish and received praise from Soundvenue for sounding vital rather than nostalgic.
Turboweekend officially announced the reunion and a spring tour in 2025 - the band's first performance since the farewell tour in 2018.
