About

Von Quar is a Danish rock band founded by Mikkel Øster, drawing its entire aesthetic from football terrace culture - the chants, the collective frenzy, the tribal loyalty. The band blends rock, punk and rave with synths, heavy drums and a full horn section, all sung in Danish. With up to 16 members on stage, they have risen from small Copenhagen venues to K.B. Hallen in under a year, and won the GAFFA Prize as Årets Håb (Best New Act) in 2026.
