
An Evening with Yotam Ottolenghi
Israeli cookbook author and restaurateur Yotam Ottolenghi presents a culinary evening at Det Ny Teater in Copenhagen.
Yotam Ottolenghi is an Israeli-British chef, cookbook author and restaurateur based in London. He is best known for his vegetable-forward, boldly spiced cooking rooted in Eastern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern traditions, and his books - among them "Plenty" and "Jerusalem" - have sold millions of copies worldwide. Since 2002 he has run a group of delis and restaurants in London, and his influence on contemporary home cooking has become so widespread that critics coined the term "The Ottolenghi Effect". He writes a regular column for The Guardian and contributes to the New York Times Magazine.
Ebury announced in February 2026 a new Ottolenghi cookbook with planned release in September 2026.
Ottolenghi launched in January-March 2026 his "Crowd Pleaser" tour with live shows in, among others, San Francisco, Calgary, Seattle, Austin, Ottawa and Philadelphia.
In February 2026 Ottolenghi conducted a tour with 21 shows in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore under the title "An Evening with Yotam Ottolenghi".
The cookbook "Ottolenghi Comfort", written with Helen Goh, Verena Lochmuller and Tara Wigley, was released in autumn 2024 and became a national bestseller in the USA and was named one of NPR's best cookbooks.
In September 2025 Ottolenghi announced his Australia and New Zealand tour for February 2026, with Singapore as the only Asian stop.
