Esrum Kloster is one of Denmark's oldest and best-preserved medieval monasteries, founded by Cistercian monks in the 12th century in northern Zealand. The adjacent Møllegård hosts exhibitions on the monastery and local history. Today the site stages concerts, lectures, markets and cultural events throughout the year.
