Kædekassen is an intimate music venue in Nordby on the island of Fanø, holding around 75 guests. It sits within the cultural project Æ Klæg on Havnevej and occupies a former bicycle workshop - the ceiling lamps are fashioned from old drums, and traces of the building's past life are woven into the décor. The venue was created by Alan Skelmose and Else Hjort as a space for live music where the audience is always close to the performers.
