This is one of two Danish concert dates for Uffe Steen Trio in 2026. Elværket is a cultural and community centre housed in the former Åbyhøj power plant from 1913, where red brick walls and high ceilings from the building's original industrial function remain intact. Located at Thorsvej 4, the venue reopened in 2016 following comprehensive renovation. Tickets cost 190 or 210 kroner.

About the venue: Elværket Åbyhøj

Elværket is a community cultural centre in Åbyhøj, housed in the former local power station built in 1913 and extended in 1927, which supplied electricity to the area until 1965. After years of work by local volunteers, it reopened in 2016 with the original red brick walls and high ceilings intact. The main hall holds up to 150 guests and hosts concerts, lectures, exhibitions and communal dinners. The venue is run entirely by volunteers and has a particularly strong music programme.
