Description was written before the event

This theme day explores classical landscape painting, where you work with traditional techniques to develop light, colour, mood and composition - gradually finding your own personal, modern painting language.

The day alternates between creative exercises and individual feedback sessions, giving you concrete tools to develop your painting.

The course is suitable for beginners and those with some experience.

About the venue: Sønderjyllands Kunstskole

Sønderjyllands Kunstskole was founded in 1979 under the name Sønderjyllands Kunstakademi, with its first courses running in spring 1980. Since 2017 the school has been based on the upper floors of Multikulturhuset on Sønderborg harbour. Teaching covers classical disciplines - drawing, painting, watercolour, sculpture, graphic art and art history - alongside newer fields such as photography, video and computer art. In addition to daytime classes, the school runs weekly, evening and weekend courses, debate lectures and a children's art school.
