Hearing Awareness Day at Prøverummet

If you use hearing aids and face challenges with hearing in everyday life, you are welcome to join an informal conversation and get guidance on your options for support. Two hearing consultants from the Center for Assistive Devices and Communication, a volunteer from the Hearing Association, and a welfare technology consultant will be available at Prøverummet to advise you.

The day begins with a presentation on hearing loss, hearing aids, and assistive devices. You can also receive guidance on hearing-related assistive devices such as table microphones, vibration alarm clocks, doorbells, and telephone and TV aids. There is also an opportunity to discuss everyday hearing challenges - both socially and in the workplace - as well as tinnitus, sound sensitivity, or other difficulties. You can also get help with your phone's features.
