Poetry on a Thursday — Holstebro Bibliotek, Holstebro

A new season of Danish poets reading their work aloud - this time at Laden in the heart of Holstebro. The ticket costs 100 kr. and includes a glass of wine, beer, or soft drink. Students and young people under 21 pay 50 kr.

"Poem of the Month"
You can submit your entry for "Poem of the Month" - one of the submitted poems will be selected and read at the event. The prize is a book by the month's poet. Send your poem by early September to: ulrikskeel@outlook.com

About the venue: Holstebro Bibliotek

Holstebro Bibliotek is the main public library for Holstebro municipality, first opened in 1903 as "Holstebro og Omegns Folkebogsamling". The building covers 6,450 square metres across three floors and adjoins Holstebro Town Hall, with a distinctive exterior of rounded arches and towers. Between the library and the town hall lies Bibliotekssalen, a hall with a stage and tiered seating. Branch libraries are located in Ulfborg and Vinderup.
