Build Your Own Mini-Robot

Build Your Own Mini-Robot - free workshop: Sunday 15 November 2026, 11:00–12:00, Nørrebro Bibliotek, Copenhagen. Admission is free.

At this workshop, you'll build your own mini-robot, test it, and get it working. The robot can move forward and backward, and maybe even dance. You'll work with your hands, and when the workshop ends, you take the robot home with you.

No technical experience needed. Gadget Academy will guide you through the entire process. The workshop is suitable for children aged 6 to 16.

Good to know: Children who cannot read on their own must bring an adult. There is room for 20 children per workshop. Each child can bring one adult on the same registration via Billetto, so the adult does not need to register separately. There is only room for one adult per child.

The workshop is part of Weekend for Children in Nørrebro, which offers free cultural and movement activities for children and their adults. They take place on Saturdays and Sundays in sports halls, libraries, and cultural centres and are supported by the Nørrebro Local Committee.

Weekend for Children is held at Blågårdens Library, Nørrebro Library, Korsgadehallen, Nørrebrohallen, Osramhuset, and Støberiet. The programme is updated regularly and can be found at weekendforbørn.dk.
