About the performance: A siren sounds in the distance. Is it war - or a world in upheaval? I Mellem Tiden explores the human condition in an era marked by geopolitical tensions and polarization - a state where the familiar slowly dissolves and the world begins to shift.

Two figures emerge in the space between two worlds: Casa and Sele. They are connected, silenced, and reflections of each other in a reality that gradually turns upside down. They inhabit the same reality - and yet each their own. Are they waiting for something? Are they locked in, or free to leave? The performance poses the questions but offers no clear answers. It invites the audience to dwell in the unresolved.

I Mellem Tiden is an original production by Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium, developed in the theatre space with Søs Banke and two Norwegian aerial acrobats Tamar Ohana Goksøyr and Mari Dahl Stoknes. The performance emerges from the working title "displacement" and a constraint consisting of 100 meters of white rope.
