Isabel Bramsen is an associate professor and head of Peace and Conflict Studies at Lund University, holding a PhD from the University of Copenhagen. Her research covers diplomacy, peace mediation and nonviolent resistance, and she has published more than 30 academic articles and books - most recently *Fredens logik* (2025), which makes the case for peace as concrete practice rather than abstract hope. She also works as a mediator at the Center for Conflict Resolution and is a member of Nordic Women Mediators.
