Mette Holm (born 1958) is a Danish translator with a master's degree in Japanese and anthropology from the University of Copenhagen. She is best known as the Danish translator of Haruki Murakami, whose novels she has rendered into Danish since the late 1990s, alongside works by Banana Yoshimoto, Kenzaburo Oe, Hiromi Kawakami and Sayaka Murata. Her translation work is the subject of the 2018 documentary 'Dreaming Murakami', and she regularly gives talks on Japanese literature at Danish libraries and literary festivals.
