Kalundborg Literature Festival 3rd and 4th October

Kalundborg Literature Festival: 3 October – 4 October 2026, Kalundborg Bibliotek og Borgerservice, Kalundborg.

The inaugural Kalundborg Literature Festival takes place on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October with the theme LAND AND CITY - a theme that runs through books, conversations and music. The festival opens on Saturday at 10:00 in the Library Garden with a welcome from Mayor Martin Damm and the Chair of the Culture and Leisure Committee Hans Munk.

Among the authors on the programme are Niels Krause-Kjær, Glenn Bech, Iben Mondrup, Jesper Stein, Dorthe Nors, Kim Blæsbjerg, Liv Duvå, Peder Frederik Jensen, Gry Stokkendahl Dalgas and Emma Bess. Saturday evening concludes the day with a concert by Søren Ulrik Thomsen & Det Glemte Kvarter - this requires a separate ticket.

Tickets are purchased at www.kalundborglitteraturfestival.dk. You can choose between a pass for both days or a day ticket for either Saturday or Sunday. For ticket purchases with cash payment or if you need assistance, you can visit Kalundborg Library in person. On the festival day, the ticket is exchanged for a sticker at the information stands at the Library or in the Culture Hall, Hall 1. For selected activities and author talks, it is possible to reserve a place in advance.
