Lecture on Psychological Abuse

Lecture on Psychological Abuse with Sherin Khankan: Tuesday 17 November 2026, 08:00–19:00, Frivillighedens Hus i Sønderborg, Sønderborg. Admission is free.

Kvindeparaplyen has made psychological abuse one of this year's themes under the slogan "From silence to speech". As part of this, Sherin Khankan will give a lecture at Frivillighedens Hus on November 17 from 7-9 PM. Everyone can participate, and admission is free.

The lecture covers psychological abuse and how to escape it. Sherin Khankan draws on her work with Exitcirklen and presents 10 concrete cognitive tools. These can help people rediscover their own boundaries, self-worth, and joy in life.

Sherin Khankan founded Exitcirklen - ways out of psychological abuse. Exitcirklen organizes support groups for people who have experienced psychological abuse as well as social and religious control.
