"Fix My Life, Please" · Sorø Bibliotek, Sorø

Lotte Mørk on grief and community: Tuesday 9 March 2027, 17:00–19:00, Sorø Bibliotek, Sorø. Tickets cost 50–75 kr.

Hospital chaplain Lotte Mørk gives a lecture on accepting life's difficult moments - something she sees as a natural part of existence that we have forgotten to embrace.

Clichés like "what doesn't kill us makes us stronger" rarely hold up in reality, Lotte argues, and she makes no secret of finding that mindset absurd. In her talk, she focuses on how life can be good despite grief, death, and fear - and on powerlessness as a fundamental condition we all share. When we learn to surrender to it rather than fight against it, it can open the door to the community we need.

The lecture is part of the series "Together About What Creates Life Force", created jointly by Sorø Library and the Hospice House Filadelfia Support Association - supported by the Nordea Foundation. The event takes place in the Auditorium at Sorø Library.

Members of the Hospice House Filadelfia Support Association receive a ticket discount. If the event is sold out, you can join the waiting list via Place2book - tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have purchased a ticket but cannot attend, please cancel so the seat can be offered to others.
