Theme Reading Circle: NATURE (new series)

Theme Reading Circle: NATURE: 15 December – 16 February 2026, Sorø Bibliotek, Sorø.

Sorø Library works extensively with the connection between literature and nature. The library has a Nature and Climate Library that is continuously updated with new literature on the subject, and is also a co-organizer of a literature festival with nature as the main theme.

In this reading circle, participants read literature from the Nature and Climate Library as well as works by authors featured at Sorø Literature Festival. Books are distributed at the meetings. Participants also receive suggestions for supplementary reading each time, primarily from the Nature and Climate Library, if they wish to explore the theme of the book the circle reads together.

Registration is required and should be sent to roseg@soroe.dk. The circle meets in Sorø Library's large reading room on the following Tuesdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m.: 15 December (opening meeting with distribution of the first book), 19 January, 16 February, 16 March, 20 April, 18 May and 15 June. Information about the literature for each meeting will follow later.
